Wellness Coaching Description
Wellness Coaching is a one on one conversation between you and your coach about your health and wellbeing. A wellness coach’s fundamental role is to assess the outcomes you want to achieve and assist you to facilitate these outcomes. Whether you feel that your life is running smoothly or lacking in areas; coaching starts where you are currently positioned and takes you beyond. You will initially self-assess various areas of your life. Coaching is an explorative process where you will be supported to stretch your current thinking, analyse your beliefs and the meanings you attach to ideas and concepts underpinning your thinking.
Your coach will assist you to create and/or explore your:
- perceived quality and satisfaction in life
- interests, habits, focus, priorities and goals
- vision, passions and dreams
- core needs, values and beliefs
Your coach will support you to:
- create a vision for your life
- set short and long term goals
- breakthrough barriers
- determine success strategies
- deconstruct limiting beliefs
- experience necessary epiphanies
- improve your overall health, relationships, career, nutrition and fitness
Your mindset is fundamentally determined by the way you think and feel about things. A rigid mindset can be very limiting and take time to analyse and deconstruct. By committing to wellness coaching long term, you are making time for you and creating space to focus your attention to aspects of your life that may be inhibiting your goals, fulfilment in life or ongoing success. A Wellness Coaching Plan promotes sustainability and personal growth. Clients with long term goals benefit from discounted Plans as do those requiring ongoing commitment, support and accountability.
If you are struggling to lose weight; managing a chronic condition; preventing a chronic condition from manifesting or if you are in good health and want more, wellness coaching is for you. Coaching is not counselling, therapy or psychology. Your wellness coach is a facilitator, not an advisor and is trained in a number of models to support the change you are seeking.
Regular wellness coaching sessions allow you to deal with a particularly challenging issue in depth or address multiple areas of change you are finding challenging to implement.

- Wellness Coaching Plan (40 consecutive weeks), with your choice of session length 60 or 90 minutes, at a regular weekly timeslot, incorporating flexibility to accommodate absences, paying by monthly instalments, or upfront payment

Facility
Your session will be conducted in our Harrison studios. The coaching space features a private and confidential open plan area with welcoming decor, white boards, independent heating and cooling system and medical grade air purifiers. The space is hygienic and free of materials that commonly trigger allergies and exudes a calming ambience.
Bring
Please bring all items outlined in Change Coaching Australia procedures and an open mind.
General Terms and Conditions
All Wellness Coaching clients must:
- register for a specific timeslot as sessions are not interchangeable
- register and complete a pre exercise health questionnaire
- abide by all verbal instructions
- inform the instructor of any change to health status prior to the commencement of every session
- act in accordance with territory legislation and territory health advice and comply with all internal policies and procedures
- attend your sessions in succession. If your Package or Plan falls over one of the two stipulated stand-down periods, 20 July-3 August and 23 December-5 January, your sessions will freeze and resume the week following the stand-down period
- park in a well lit area nearby or at Mullion Park Harrison. Walk to your car accompanied where possible
- understand that sessions run all year-round, including public holidays, with the exception of the stipulated stand-down periods. You are permitted to miss up to 8 sessions without penalty. Failure to attend more than 8 sessions per Plan will result in forfeiture of session
- comply with all terms and conditions as outlined in your Service Agreement
