Wellness coaching will equip you with necessary skills to adapt your mindset; set a vision and goals; improve your confidence; expand your comfort zone; challenge your limiting beliefs; push through barriers and position you for sustainability and success.
When changing and adopting behaviours to meet your health and fitness goals, a combination of wellness coaching and personal training is particularly successful. Clients usually “know what to do” to achieve their goals but struggle to “flick the switch”. Wellness coaching is a mechanism to “flick the switch”.
We recognise and appreciate that there are a number of issues pertaining to mobility, mindset and healthy eating, that have the potential to impede your ability to achieve your health and fitness goals. As such, we work closely with various external professionals to implement a collaborative approach.
Depending on the level and type of support you require and your medical history, we can incorporate case management into your Plan or Package. Your coach can accompany you to your appointments, including those with your: general practitioner, medical specialist (surgeon, neurologist, cardiologist, immunologist etc), podiatrist, sports physician, exercise physiologist, physiotherapist, remedial massage therapist, soft tissue therapist, psychologist, dietitian and others.
Your coach is the ideal case manager to accompany you to your various allied health appointments as she is regularly observing your barriers and challenges and is well positioned to share observations, integrate advice, advocate and liaise with your treating team and collaborate with these providers to best address your issues.
To establish this process, your coach can conduct a top to toe interview with you to generate a succinct medical history, which is useful for referral purposes and liaison with your allied health team.
